Update
Apparently, it's an epidemic. Bruce Willis was wearing a ground chuck hairpiece on David Letterman. To Dave's credit, he kept some of that meat from going to waste by taking a bite of the coif con carne. Even I'm not sure it's such a good idea to consume raw room-temperature beef though--and did I mention I eat goose poop? Maybe the next "Top Ten" should be devoted to the "Top Ten Reasons Why a Person Should Not Confuse His Closet and His Refrigerator." I'm just saying, don't make "Die Hard" your epitaph just for a comedy bit.
What a Waste!
Oh, Lady Gaga, what were you thinking? I know you like standing out in a crowd; you've even worn a frock made of frogs (faux frogs, thankfully) and demonstrated it really isn't easy being green--or looking at someone making green while dressed in Kermit carcasses. But a dress made of meat--delicious, delicious meat--is just wrong. In this economy, when people are struggling to put food in their dogs bowls, I mean food on the table, here you are mocking them with your Grade A moronic fashion statement. All that meat going to waste, rotting under the hot lights, stinking to high heaven--and, I'm guessing, ruining your theatre seat (or did you put down some butcher paper first?). What is this, the 80's? That's the last time I saw so much conspicuous lack of consumption. Don't get me wrong, I love the intoxicating aroma of rancid flesh--I am only canine, after all--but I'm not sure my human brethren and sisteren share my fondness for all things funky--George Clinton aside. And it wasn't pretty either. It's like she was from the cast of Quest for Fire--if she'd thrown that get-up on the grill, she would've met with a more positive response; it's hard to resist the smell of BBQ (even if you aren't a carnivore like myself). Basically, the whole thing was in bad taste--and as a creature who loves nothing more than hoovering up some fresh goose poop, I know bad taste.
Here's what my friends at the Huffington Post have to say (there are pics and a poll too).
